Family Art Night: LEGO Printmaking - Mar. 7

LEGO Printmaking is back! This is so much fun, makers of all ages will enjoy creating a flat plate design for printing using LEGO “Dots” pieces. Thinking about symmetry, balance, and interesting composition, you can make a pattern, an animal or creature, or something else for your design. Once your LEGO plate design is ready, roll on colorful printmaking ink with a brayer tool, and then transfer your plate onto paper like a stamp to get the imprint of the pieces. Create flat art to frame or make several folded cards with your LEGO art. You can’t keep the LEGOs, but you will keep all that you print with them!

Each participant creates their own LEgo plate & art prints. Instruction provided, with lots of room for creativity. All supplies provided, including aprons for children. Themed coloring pages provided for younger participants and early finishers.
