Chinese Lunar New Year, “Running Horse Puppet”
6:00-6:45pm (45 min)
or 6:45pm-7:30pm (45 min)
Celebrate the Lunar New Year, the Year of the Horse, and make a paper running horse puppet! Color and design your horse with a variety of paints, pens, and colored pencils including gold and metallics for details. Attach moveable legs with brass pins. You can either add to our Studio herd on display, or take your puppet home right away!
Choose which 45-min time slot you want to join. Each participant creates their own horse. A variety of supplies is provided, including aprons for children, with lots of room for creativity. Themed coloring pages will also be provided for younger participants and early finishers.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
